Dates to be announced for 2021
As the world changes around us, we had to change too. Instead of a festival filling the streets this year, we opted to use the sponsor money to package and deliver 100 Easter bags to families in need within the community. Thank you Dana Lynn Favel of Re/Max, the BC Log Haulers Association and Gibraltar Mines!
What can you expect to see next year? Since it's even earlier in the year we will again be exploring our options and likely hosting the bulk of the festival inside the Elk's Hall on First Ave South, with the egg hunt at the Potato House at 49 Borland St, and photos with the Easter Bunny at the Realm of Toys 190A Oliver St.
Photos with the Easter Bunny and the Easter Egg Hunt (ages 13 and under, at the Potato House) will both be by donation again, along with a NEW Maid Cafe run by our local Girl Guides with sweets made by two certified bakers.
Inside the Elk's Hall you'll find Magicians, face painters, bouncy castles, VR demos and possibly a crafters market!
The festival itself is a fundraiser to help keep our local Potato House Project afloat!
